Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From the early days of playing drums in school bands to performing in clubs, and eventually on larger stages, the rhythm of the music has shaped much of who I am. The excitement of being behind the kit, the camaraderie of a band, and the energy of a live performance are things I do and will always treasure. But as I transitioned into the professional world, I discovered another passion that has become equally fulfilling—helping small businesses, especially those in the music industry and technology, achieve financial success.

As a drummer who has also spent time in recording studios, I know firsthand the challenges that musicians and studio owners face. The constant hustle to book gigs, manage equipment, and make ends meet can be overwhelming. On top of that, navigating the business side of things—taxes, budgets, cash flow, and growth strategies—can feel like a foreign language. But it doesn't have to be.

My journey into finance and operations began as a natural extension of my desire to support creative people and small businesses. Over the years, I’ve worked with companies across various industries, including manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, real estate, professional services, and eCommerce, helping them scale, optimize their processes, and gain financial stability. What makes me different? I speak both the language of music and the language of business. I understand the realities of the industry—from the late nights at gigs to the meticulous work in the studio—and I can help translate those realities into a sustainable financial plan.

A Kinship with Musicians

I know the music industry is more than just numbers. It's about passion, creativity, and connection. Whether you're a solo artist trying to break through, a band making waves in your local scene, or a studio owner balancing clients and gear maintenance, I get it. You want to focus on your craft, not be bogged down by spreadsheets and financial jargon. That’s where I come in.

My approach is simple: I’m here to help you grow your music business in a way that aligns with your goals. Together, we can craft a financial strategy that allows you to focus more on the music and less on the stress of day-to-day operations.

Financial Health for Musicians and Studios

Here are just a few of the ways I help musicians and music businesses thrive:

  1. Financial Planning for Musicians: Whether you're booking gigs, selling merchandise, or navigating royalty payments, I can help you create a plan that keeps your finances in check and your business on track.
  2. Operational Consulting for Studios: Running a studio involves much more than just great gear and talent. From managing supply chains and booking schedules to ensuring efficient use of space and equipment, I offer tailored solutions to streamline your studio operations.
  3. Cash Flow Management: Unpredictable income streams are part of life in the music world, but that doesn’t mean your finances have to be chaotic. I provide tools and insights to help you manage cash flow, plan for the future, and grow your music business sustainably.
  4. Tax and Compliance: From keeping track of expenses to ensuring you're making the most of deductions, I can help you navigate the complex world of taxes for musicians and studio owners.

My Commitment to the Music Community

Ultimately, I’m not just a consultant—I’m part of the music community. My love of music continues to drive me, and I want to see other musicians and industry professionals succeed. I’m committed to providing the knowledge and support that allows creative people to focus on their art while maintaining a strong and stable business foundation.

If you're ready to take your music business to the next level, let’s connect. Together, we can make sure your passion for music translates into a thriving, sustainable business and career.
